Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to the cleaning team by coordinating their work schedules and shifts.
- Ensuring that the team reports to work on time and in the right uniforms
- Follow up with management to provide the right cleaning materials, by following the right requesting channels.
- Provide oversight to the cleaners to ensure that all areas are cleaned at all times.
- Creating and maintaining a cleaning schedule on appropriate days and times for deep and surface cleaning.
- Regularly training the team on the types of equipment to use and how to use them effectively.
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
- Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
- Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
- Emptying trash cans.
- Washing and drying windows.
- Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process.
- Informing the line manager of repairs that need to be done.
- Dust and polish various surfaces
- Restock bathrooms with supplies
