The Operations Manager’s role is mainly to implement the right processes and practices across the organization. We are looking for a highly experienced and passion driven. You will ultimately be responsible for optimizing Red Chilli’s operating model by ensuring daily operations and also by setting and executing a middle to long-term strategy. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides policy direction and advice to the company to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Identifying business risks, flagging capacity and escalating and solving profitability issues with the executive team
  • Ensure that all parts of the business/offices are working efficiently together.
  • In charge of the operations team responsible for initiating and implementing the right operational model and structure in line with the customer solutions we provide
  • Provides efficient and effective operational leadership for the business.
  • Anticipates specifies and recommends any operational equipment to be purchased to ensure that appropriate equipment is used to enhance customer experience.
  • Liaises with external suppliers and other related support teams to ensure good rapport and/or good working relationship between them and the company.
  • Spearheads all operational initiatives and strategies in support of the business revenue activities.
  • Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.
  • Set aggressive and achievable operational and/or performance goals for each department which is tied to long-term company goals.
  • Monitors activities of team members in order to achieve set targets
  • Identifies learning and development needs of team members and recommends training and/or other interventions for them
  • Maintains contact with the General Manager and Heads of Departments on operational issues
  • Maintains contact with key stakeholders in both the public and private sectors e.g. government agencies, professional bodies relating to Hospitality, etc.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration or Operations Management or related fields
  • Food and Hospitality experience preferred.
  • 5+ years working experience in Operations Management and or similar fields
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Proven track record of leading a functional team as a senior manager
  • Fair understanding of Ghana’s hospitality laws
  • Good knowledge of current trends and international best practices in hospitality management
  • Good knowledge of operational policies, systems and procedures.
  • Good leadership, negotiating and influencing skills.
